Research
I have a strong interest in structural geology and tectonics.
My current Ph.D. research consists of three main parts: evaluating the basement-involved and detached deformation during and after rifting, investigating the deformation behavior of rock salt, and modeling of salt-related deformation.
My research integrates field observation (e.g., outcrop, satellite image, well, 2D & 3D seismic-reflection data) with scaled experimental models.
